Another week means another set of quests in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. Week 7 brings some interesting challenges that will have you collecting Oni masks, getting eliminations with specific weapons, and showing off your specialist skills.
These quests offer a good mix of combat and exploration tasks that you can complete while playing your regular matches. Let’s take a look at this week’s quests and how to complete every chapter 6 week 7 quest.
Ready to jump in? Here’s what you need to do this week:
You’ll need to collect Oni masks in three different matches to complete this quest. The masks can be found randomly in regular chests around the map, but your best chance is to check Elemental Chests since they have a higher chance of dropping elemental items like these masks. the most reliable spots being:
If you’re feeling brave, you can also get the Mythic (gold) versions by defeating bosses – Shogun X drops the Fire Oni Mask, while Night Rose at Demon’s Dojo drops the Void Oni Mask.
Remember, you need to collect these masks in three separate matches – getting multiple masks in one game won’t count toward your progress. Also, make sure to complete each match after finding a mask for it to count toward the quest.
Getting five shotgun eliminations might take a few matches, but it’s pretty straightforward. Pick up any shotgun you find and try to engage in close-quarter combat situations where shotguns excel, like inside buildings or around corners.
Make sure to aim for the upper body to maximize damage, and consider carrying shields to survive close encounters.
For this challenge, you need to gain 50 health or shields while having a hired specialist in your squad. You can hire one of four NPCs around the map for 250 Gold Bars each:
Any of these specialists will work for this quest – you just need to have one following you while you heal up or use shields. We have attached a map below with all the hireable NPC in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1:
After hiring a specialist, you can gain health or shields in any way you like. A good strategy is to grab some healing items before you hire your specialist. This way, you can start working on the quest right away.
The headshot distance challenge requires you to accumulate 150 meters worth of headshots. This doesn’t mean you need to hit a single 150-meter headshot – the distances add up across multiple eliminations.
I recommend you to use a Rail Gun as right now it has the highest range. If you cannot find one, you can use an assault rifle as well.
Finding and lighting two campfires is one of the simpler challenges this week. Campfires can be found in various locations across the map, and we’ve added a map image below to help you spot them easily. You’ll find plenty of them scattered around points of interest and wilderness areas. Just look for the small circular stone fire pits – they’re pretty easy to spot once you know what to look for.
Once you find a campfire, walk up to it and interact to light it. You don’t even need to stick around and use it for healing – just lighting it is enough to count toward the challenge.
Remember that you can work on multiple challenges simultaneously in a single match. For example, while searching for Oni masks, keep an eye out for campfires, or while working on your headshot distance, carry a shotgun for close-range encounters. This efficient approach will help you complete the Week 7 quests faster and earn your XP rewards with less grinding.
