Marvel Rivals: All Current and Upcoming Events

Marvel Rivals has several events running right now, and keeping track of all of them can be tricky. You’ve got Season 0 as the main event, the Winter Celebration for holiday fun, and the Championship if you’re interested in competitive play.

Plus there’s the Battle Pass to level up, and specific missions to complete in Entangled Moments. This guide will walk you through every active event, exactly what you need to do for each one, and what rewards you’ll get. Think of it as your one-stop reference for everything happening in Marvel Rivals!

Marvel Rivals All Events

Season 0: Dooms’ Rise

Running from December 6, 2024 to January 10, 2025, this serves as the foundation for all other events. During this time, several heroes receive temporary power boosts to keep the game fresh.

In competitive play, your rank determines who you can team up with. Bronze and Silver players can play together, and adjacent ranks can form teams. When you reach Diamond III or higher, matches include a hero ban phase where each team can block one character from being picked.

Entangled Moments Event

From December 6, 2024 to January 2, 2025, this event features five mission sets that each focus on different character combinations and maps. Here’s what you need to do for each set:

Family Affairs Missions:

To complete this set, you need to:

• Defeat 5 enemies as Storm or Captain America while using Thorforce’s electrifying enhancement for 60 Units
• Take down 30 enemies using Hela, Loki, Thor, Bruce Banner, Black Widow, or Luna Snow on Yggsgard maps for 100 Chrono Tokens
• Win 3 matches on Yggsgard maps to get the God of Mischief Spray

Web-Warriors Missions:

For these missions, you’ll need to:

• Team up with Venom as Spider-Man or Peni Parker and defeat 3 enemies using Suit Explusion/Armor Expulsion for 60 Units
• Defeat 30 enemies using Spider-Man, Peni Parker, Psylocke, Jeff the Land Shark, Groot, or Rocket Raccoon on Tokyo 2099 maps for 100 Chrono Tokens
• Win 3 matches on Tokyo 2099 maps to earn the Little Ben Spray

Blind Devotion Missions:

The requirements are:

• Team up with Black Panther or Psylocke and activate Dimensional Shortcut 5 times for 60 Units
• Defeat 30 enemies using Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Captain America, Hawkeye, Mantis, or Adam Warlock on Wakanda maps for 100 Chrono Tokens
• Win 3 matches on Wakanda maps for another Little Ben Spray

Hydra’s Hymn Missions:

For this set, you must:

• Team up with Iron Man or Doctor Strange and defeat 5 enemies with gamma-enhanced abilities for 60 Units
• Defeat 20 enemies using Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Captain America, Moon Knight, or Cloak & Dagger on Hydra Charteris Base maps for 100 Chrono Tokens
• Win 2 matches on Hydra maps for the Little Ben Spray

Final Story Missions:

Complete these objectives:

• Team up with Adam Warlock as Star-Lord or Mantis and activate Cocooned Revival 2 times for 60 Units
• Defeat 20 enemies using Venom, Adam Warlock, Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, Wolverine, or Squirrel Girl on Klyntar maps for 100 Chrono Tokens
• Win 2 matches on Klyntar maps for the Little Ben Spray

Marvel Rivals Winter Celebration

Active from December 20, 2024 to January 9, 2025, this event introduces Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival mode where you play as Jeff the Land Shark in a special version of the Yggsgard Royal Palace map. During the event, you can earn Golden and Silver Frost currency to unlock greeting card decorations for your gallery.

The event brings five new winter-themed costumes:

• Jeff the Land Shark – Cuddly Fuzzlefin (Free through event completion)
• Groot – Holiday Happiness (Available December 20 – January 10)
• Rocket Raccoon – Wild Winter (Available December 20 – January 10)
• Venom – Snow Symbiote (Available December 27 – January 17)
• Magik – Frozen Demon (Available December 27 – January 17)

Marvel Rivals Championship

This competitive tournament runs from December 14, 2024 to January 5, 2025, with different phases:

• Open Qualifiers: December 14-15
• Closed Qualifiers: December 21-22
• Double Elimination Rounds: December 27-29 and January 3-5

Marvel Rivals Battle Pass: Chronovium

Available from December 6, 2024 to January 10, 2025, this shortened battle pass costs 490 Lattice. Each page offers different rewards that you unlock with Chrono Tokens. Notable rewards include:

• Page 1: Black Panther Galactic Claw Costume and The Punisher Thunderbolts Costume
• Page 2: Doctor Strange God of Magic Costume and various cosmetics
• Page 3: Hela Empress of the Cosmos Costume
• Page 4: Mantis Galactic Wings Costume

Marvel Rivals Fortnite Collaboration

From December 7, 2024 to January 6, 2025, you can earn the Rivaled Sailer Glider in Fortnite by playing 10 Marvel Rivals matches through the Epic Games Store. Remember to use the same Epic Games account for both games to receive your reward.
