Let’s break down how to play Invisible Woman effectively. Your primary goal is to position yourself where you can heal allies while simultaneously pressuring enemies. The orb projection ability sends out projectiles that both heal teammates and damage enemies, with no damage falloff up to 30 meters. What makes this particularly strong is that the orbs pass through multiple targets, letting you heal several allies while damaging grouped-up enemies at the same time.
The guardian shield ability needs careful management to get the most value. You can place a 300 HP shield on allies that also heals nearby teammates, but timing the shield recall is crucial. If you let the shield get destroyed, you’ll face a long 6-second cooldown. Instead, try to recall it early when it still has durability. You can also transfer the shield between allies without triggering a cooldown, which is essential for protecting multiple teammates during intense fights.
One of your most powerful tools is the passive invisibility. After 5 seconds out of combat, you’ll turn invisible and start healing. While this might seem slow, you can instantly trigger invisibility using your double jump ability. Save this for when you really need to escape – using it just for mobility can leave you vulnerable when enemies dive on you. The invisibility gives you great opportunities to reposition and set up plays, but remember that any damage or ability use will break it.
The psionic vortex creates an area that damages and slightly pulls enemies toward its center. While the pull isn’t strong enough to trap enemies completely, it’s perfect for zoning and controlling space. Drop it when enemies dive you to force them to either take damage or back off. You can also use it to deny important positions or combine it with your force physics ability for some nasty combos.
Speaking of force physics, this ability lets you push or pull enemies, dealing damage in either case. The push can send enemies flying off ledges for instant kills, while the pull can drag fleeing targets back into danger. The range is generous at 30 meters, and you don’t need precise aim to hit targets. Use it to disrupt enemy positioning, save allies from divers, or set up kills for your team.
The ultimate ability creates a large area where allies become invisible to enemies outside while receiving strong healing. Enemies can enter the dome to see you, but they’ll be slowed when crossing the boundary. This makes it great for both defensive plays when your team needs to recover and offensive pushes where you want to pressure objectives while making it harder for enemies to respond.
Your biggest weaknesses are predictable escape patterns and vulnerability when caught without cooldowns. Smart enemies will bait out your double jump before diving you, leaving you with no reliable way to escape. You’re also quite fragile at 275 HP, so positioning is crucial. Stay near natural cover and your team’s protection while maintaining line of sight to heal and damage effectively.
