After spending quite a bit of time with Marvel Rivals’ roster, Luna Snow has become one of my go-to picks when our team needs a strong support hero. She combines healing with surprising damage potential, and her ice-skating mobility makes her incredibly fun to play. In my opinion, she is probably the best Strategist to play in the game right now.
What really makes Luna Snow stand out in the current meta is her flexibility – you can both keep your team alive and contribute meaningful damage when needed.
While she might take a few games to get used to her healing mechanics, her kit is pretty straightforward once you understand the basics. Plus, that ice-skating passive adds a really fun movement dynamic that makes positioning feel more engaging than other support heroes.
Before diving into gameplay tips, let’s look at Luna’s core stats:
Luna Snow | |
Role | Strategist |
Health | 275 |
Base Movement Speed | 6 m/s |
Skating Speed | 9.6 m/s |
Difficulty | ⭐⭐ (2/5) |
The key to success with Luna Snow lies in maximizing her mobility while maintaining good sight lines to your team. Her Smooth Skate passive activates after moving forward for just half a second, giving you both increased speed and jump height. Use this mobility to reach elevated positions where you can see your entire team while staying safe from enemy pressure.
Your primary healing comes from Light & Dark Ice either heals allies or damages enemies for 20 per shot. Don’t feel pressured to constantly heal – if your team’s health is topped off, those ice shards can put out meaningful damage, especially when targeting grouped enemies.
Share the Stage works best when placed on heroes who might leave your line of sight. Put it on your main tank during team fights or on mobile heroes like Venom or Spider-Man when they’re diving the enemy backline. This ensures they receive healing even when you’re focusing on other teammates.
Ice Arts serves as your burst healing and damage tool. Use it when your tank needs quick healing or when enemies are lined up in corridors. Since it pierces through targets, you can heal multiple allies or damage several enemies simultaneously.
Absolute Zero provides crucial self-defense against flankers. Landing a freeze buys valuable time to either escape or get help from teammates. It’s particularly effective against flying heroes – freezing them mid-air forces them to drop and become vulnerable.
Fate of Both Worlds can turn team fights around completely. During its 12-second duration, you can toggle between healing and damage boost modes. Switch to damage boost when your team is healthy and pushing objectives, then back to healing when under pressure.
Luna Snow becomes vulnerable when caught out of position or dove by multiple enemies. Her low health pool means she can’t survive long under focused fire, and once Absolute Zero is on cooldown, she lacks reliable self-defense options.
When playing against Luna Snow, focus on these weaknesses:

Luna Snow really shines when playing with coordinated teams. The better you get at balancing her healing and damage output, the more impact you’ll have on matches. Keep practicing those ice shots, work on your positioning, and you’ll be freezing enemies while keeping your team topped off in no time.
Remember, the key to success with Luna Snow isn’t just about raw healing numbers – it’s about being in the right place at the right time and making smart decisions about when to heal and when to contribute damage. Give her a try, and you might just find your new main support hero in Marvel Rivals.
