When is MechaGodzilla Coming to Fortnite?
MechaGodzilla is scheduled to arrive in the Item Shop on January 16, 2025. This release comes just one day before the main Godzilla content update, which introduces the Godzilla skins and special quests to the game.
The timing aligns perfectly with the ongoing Monsterverse event and the recent mysterious Godzilla footprints appearing on the island’s eastern coastline.
How to Get the MechaGodzilla Skin in Fortnite
Unlike the base Godzilla skins, which are part of the Battle Pass, MechaGodzilla will be available exclusively through the Item Shop. When the skin releases, simply head to the Item Shop tab from the main menu or you can buy the skin from the official Fortnite Shop website as well.
You’ll need to have enough V-Bucks ready for purchase, as the skin will only be available for a limited time. Since this is a major collaboration, it’s recommended to make your purchase during its initial release, as crossover skins can sometimes take months to return to the shop.
