The Kinetic Blade has been unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 bringing back one of the game’s most effective mobility options. This samurai-inspired weapon first appeared in Chapter 4 Season 2, where it quickly became a favorite for its unique combination of combat and movement abilities.

While players now have access to both the Kinetic Blade and the new Typhoon Blade, each offers distinct advantages in different situations. The Kinetic Blade stands out for its ability to chain multiple air dashes, making it particularly valuable in Zero Build modes where movement options are more limited.

Where to Find Kinetic Blade in Fortnite?

Finding the Kinetic Blade in Chapter 6 requires a bit more effort than in previous seasons. Unlike its earlier appearance where specific sword holders guaranteed spawns, the current distribution is more randomized.

You can find the Kinetic Blade through:

• Floor loot spawns throughout the map
• On the train through “chest hack”
• Regular chest containers
• Rare chest containers

The weapon currently has a relatively low spawn rate, and unlike the Typhoon Blade, it doesn’t have dedicated sword stands. This makes finding one more challenging but still worthwhile for its unique capabilities.

During a recent match, I managed to get one by hacking a chest on the train. Although I am not sure if it gives out a Kinetic Blade every time, you can definitely try it.

Also, another place you can look for Kinetic Blade is the Mythic Vault in Nightshift Forest as it is one of the most stacked places in current Fortnite season.

How to Use Kinetic Blade in Fortnite

Knockback Slash

The basic attack consists of two quick slashes:

• Each slash deals 35 damage (70 total)
• The second hit knocks opponents backward
