To change your name in Marvel Rivals, you’ll need a Rename Card. Here’s exactly how to do it:

  • Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the main menu
  • Look for the little pencil icon next to your current name
  • Click that pencil to open the name change screen
  • Type in what you want your new name to be
  • Hit confirm to make the change

Pretty simple, right? But before you jump in, there are a few important things to keep in mind.

The Rename Card costs 500 Units, and you’ll need one before you can change your name. Here’s how to get those Units:

  • Play through the Battle Pass – this is probably the easiest way
  • Complete your daily and weekly missions
  • Finish achievements as you play
  • Convert Lattice (the premium currency) to Units if you want to speed things up

Once you have enough Units, just head to the store, find the Rename Card in the Items section, and buy it.

Important Stuff to Remember

There are some limitations you should know about.

  • After changing your name, you’ll need to wait 7 days before you can do it again.
  • Each Rename Card only works once, so you’ll need to buy a new one for your next name change.
  • You can’t pick a name that someone else is already using, and once you use the card, it’s gone – even if you decide not to change your name after all.
  • Make sure to double-check your spelling because a typo means waiting another week to fix it.

And that’s really all there is to it. Just save up those 500 Units, grab your Rename Card, and pick something good.

Remember to check if your desired name is available before buying the card – there’s nothing worse than spending those Units only to find out someone else already has the name you want.
