If you’re getting started with Marvel Rivals, you’ll quickly learn that Units are essential for buying items from the in-game store. Getting Units isn’t as straightforward as other currencies in the game, so let’s break down exactly how to earn them and use them effectively.

Right now, the primary way to get Units is by converting Lattice at a 1:1 ratio. One Lattice equals one Unit. Since Lattice is the premium currency you buy with real money, this means Units are mostly obtained through purchases. Here are other ways you can earn Units in-game:

  • Battle Pass: While you can’t earn Units directly through gameplay at launch, you can get Units through the Battle Pass
  • Through Lattice: Another way to get Units is by trading Lattice that you can either buy or earn through Battle Pass.
  • Complete Achievements: Completing achievements also grants you Units.

Current Marvel Rivals Unit Prices

For reference, here’s what you can expect to spend in the store:

  • Character skins typically cost between 400-1000 Units
  • Emotes and smaller cosmetics usually range from 200-500 Units
  • Bundles can cost anywhere from 1000-2500 Units

Remember that prices might change as the game updates and new items are added to the store.

Making Smart Choices with Units

Store items aren’t going anywhere, so take your time deciding what to buy. Focus on saving Units for items you really want rather than spending them on everything available. Keep an eye on the Battle Pass too – it’s currently the only way to earn some Lattice without spending money, which you can convert to Units.

Remember to check the store regularly since new items cycle in and out. While Units might seem hard to get now, the developers are likely to add more ways to earn them as the game grows.
