The latest Fortnite collaboration brings the King of Monsters, Godzilla to the island, and with him comes a new consumable item – Godzilla’s Fragments. As part of the Chapter 6 Season 1 update, this consumable item is important to survive against Godzilla’s destructive abilities.
These fragments offer a combination of healing and mobility. In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about finding, collecting, and using Godzilla’s Fragments effectively.
Godzilla’s Fragments appear as glowing purple-pink rocks that can be spotted easily during combat. These mythic-rarity consumables serve a dual purpose – healing and mobility.

Special Effect | 3 dash charges |
The primary way to obtain Godzilla’s Fragments is by targeting and damaging Godzilla’s weak points during encounters. These weak points appear as massive purple glowing scales on his arms and back. As you deal damage to these spots, the scales will gradually dim, and the fragments will drop from Godzilla as purple-pink rocks.
The best way to farm these fragments is to stay at a safe distance from the Kaiju as he hits quite hard – pretty much one shot anything in its way. Another method is to eliminate players who already have fragments, though this is less reliable than getting them directly from Godzilla.
Using Godzilla’s Fragments is straightforward – they work like any other consumable item in Fortnite. When consumed, they immediately restore 40 effective health and grant three dash charges. These dash charges can be activated by double jumping.
The dash ability proves particularly useful when fighting Godzilla, as it allows you to dodge its powerful attacks. The fragments can also be thrown to mark their location for teammates
Remember that dealing the most damage to Godzilla during a match can earn you his Medallion, which grants a permanent version of the dash ability
