Fortnite: How to Find and Open Secret Vault in Flooded Frogs

The Flooded Frogs area in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 holds a secret vault that not a lot of players know about. The secret vault is packed with valuable loot that can give you a serious advantage in your matches.

It’s one of three major hidden areas in the current season, alongside the Mythic Vault in Nightshift Forest and the mysterious Secret Cave in Magic Mosses. If you’re wondering how to find and access the Flooded Frogs Secret chamber, I’ve got you covered with everything you need to know.

Where to Find the Secret Vault in Flooded Frogs in Fortnite

The secret vault entrance is located in the Flooded Frogs POI, which you can find in the northern section of the Battle Royale map. Once you land there, head to the central area where you’ll spot a large frog fountain. Near this fountain, you’ll notice a crack in one of the walls – this is your way to the hidden chamber. While it might look like something you can break with your pickaxe, this special entrance requires a specific item to access.

How to Get Inside the Flooded Frogs Secret Vault in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

To enter the vault, you’ll need a Void Oni Mask. You can get this item in two ways: either find it in Elemental Chests scattered around the map or defeat the Night Rose boss at Demon’s Dojo. There are three Elemental chests in Flooded Frogs and I have marked their location in the image below so that you can try your luck and do not have to fight a boss. You can also try your luck in the secret cave in Magic Mosses as it is the nearest POI to Flooded Frogs.

Once you have the mask, here’s what to do:

The vault actually contains two separate chambers. To access the first chamber, head to the crack in the wall near the fountain, use your Void Oni Mask to fire a Void Orb at the crack, and then teleport inside. This first room contains some basic loot, but the real treasure lies beyond.

To reach the second chamber, look for a frog statue in one of the corners of the first room. Unlike the entrance wall, you can actually break this statue with your pickaxe. Once destroyed, it reveals access to a second, larger chamber that contains the best rewards.

The secret vault’s rewards make the effort worthwhile, with different loot available in each chamber:

First Chamber:

• One Rare Chest
• Multiple Ammo Crates
• Basic resources and materials

Second Chamber (Main Vault):

• Two Elemental Chest
• Two Rare Chest
• Abundant Ammo Crates
• High-tier weapons and gear

When you’re ready to leave, you have two options: either use the portable toilet inside the vault to exit, or employ your Void Oni Mask again to teleport back out. The choice is yours depending on where you want to position yourself for the next phase of the match.
