What Started It All
The season began when a comet hit the island. We learned this comet was a piece of the Zero Point, which connects different realities in Fortnite. When it crashed, it changed the island to have a Japanese theme and brought demon warriors with it.
Three siblings were at the center of this story – Jade, Kendo, and Daigo. Jade and Kendo spent their time in Nightshift Forest fighting demons and collecting essence. They worked with an NPC named Hope to figure out where these demons came from. The demons started targeting Jade specifically, which worried her brothers.
Daigo created two masks – the Oni mask and Void mask – thinking they would protect Jade. This didn’t work as planned. Instead, Jade got trapped in the Spirit Realm through a portal in Nightshift Forest. Players who visited the island during mid-season noticed Jade wasn’t at her usual NPC spot anymore.
Kendo didn’t trust what Daigo was doing. Through a quest, players found Daigo’s workshop where he was using dark magic on Sprites. Hope discovered the comet was part of the Zero Point, which led to making special weapons called Splinter Blades. Night Rose was supposed to get these blades but gave them to Daigo instead.
Daigo stood at the Winter Portal for six days before the event. He brought six masks with him. Each day, he said something different to players who talked to him. On the first day, he told players to stay away from his plan. By the fifth day, he said he could see Jade. On the last day, he talked about entering the Spirit Realm.
What Happened in the Event
Players went to the snowy mountain near Warrior’s Watch to see the event. A pink beam marked the spot. The event showed Daigo trying to pull Jade out of a portal, but pink energy held her back. Then Daigo fought Shogun X, the demon boss, in the Spirit Realm. Shogun X hit Daigo with his typhoon blade first, but Daigo used the power from his six masks to win the fight.
Jade made it back to the island. You can find her now as an NPC where Daigo disappeared. When players talk to her, she says she doesn’t remember much about the Spirit Realm. The area where the fight happened now has golden energy around it. Jade tells players this gold will cause “greed, fighting, and mayhem,” which connects to what’s coming in Season 2.
Season 2 of Chapter 6 is bringing new content. Sub-Zero will be part of the Battle Pass, and the season might focus on heists. The golden energy Jade mentioned seems to be setting up these new story elements.
The Spirit Realm event wrapped up the story of Daigo trying to save his sister. While he disappeared in the process, he succeeded in bringing Jade back. Now players are waiting to see how the gold energy will change things in Season 2.
