Hexolite is one of the most important new resources in Palworld’s Feybreak update. This shiny material opens up a whole world of advanced crafting options, from powerful weapons to high-tier armor. Getting your hands on it takes some work, but this guide will walk you through exactly what you need to do.

How to Find Hexolite Quartz in Palworld?

Before you can make Hexolite, you need to collect Hexolite Quartz. This special crystal only spawns on Feybreak Island, which sits southwest of Mount Obsidian. You can spot these crystals pretty easily – they shine with a rainbow-like glow and form large, tower-like nodes that stand out against the landscape. The nodes are particularly visible at night thanks to their bright glow.

To mine Hexolite Quartz, you’ll need at least a Refined Metal Pickaxe, though a Pal Metal Pickaxe works much better. Each node gives you around 80 pieces of Hexolite Quartz. Keep in mind that each piece weighs 2.0, so a full node adds 374.0 to your carrying weight – watch your inventory space carefully.

Best Locations for Farming Hexolite Quartz in Palworld

The easiest spots to find Hexolite Quartz are along the beaches and grasslands of Feybreak Island. A particularly good starting point is near coordinates (-953, -883), where you can find several nodes close together. From there, you can work your way east to find more clusters.

The nodes respawn after some time, so you can return to the same spots later. While exploring for nodes, it’s smart to set up fast travel points around the island. This helps a lot with farming runs, especially since some areas have anti-aircraft bases that stop you from flying until you take them out.

How to Use Hexolite Quartz in Palworld?

Getting the Quartz is just the first step. To make it truly useful, you need to turn it into Hexolite at a Gigantic Furnace. Here’s what you need:

  • Level 56 to unlock the Gigantic Furnace recipe
  • 200 Flame Organs
  • 150 Plasteel
  • 100 Polymers
  • 20 Ancient Civilization Parts

Once you’ve built the furnace, the recipe for Hexolite requires:

  • 12 Hexolite Quartz
  • 5 Chromite (find this using a Metal Detector or a Smokie Pal)
  • 20 Ore

Fire up the furnace with Pals that have high Kindling skills, like Jormuntide Ignis. You can use multiple fire Pals to speed up the smelting process.

The finished Hexolite is used to craft some of the game’s most powerful items, including Laser Gatling Guns, Beam Swords, Advanced Bows, and Plasma Cannons.

You can also make high-tier armor, Triple Jump Boots, and even special Pal-catching spheres called Exotic Spheres. If you’re planning to tackle the game’s toughest challenges, getting a good supply of Hexolite is essential.
