The Wide Open achievement in Marvel Rivals is one of the many achievements you can complete on the Hydra Chateris Base map. Found in the Chronoverse Saga collection, this achievement tasks you with destroying a specific barrier in the Frozen Airfield section. Wide Open Chronoverse Saga Achievement

The Wide Open achievement asks you to destroy a protective barrier/wall in the Frozen Airfield zone of Hydra Chateris Base during Domination matches.

When you’re playing on this map, you’ll notice it has three different zones where teams fight for control – the Super Soldier Factory where you get the Not on My Watch achievement, the Eldritch Monument, and the Frozen Airfield where this achievement takes place. Each round picks one of these zones randomly, and teams need to win 2 out of 3 rounds to take the match.

How to Get the Wide Open Achievement in Marvel Rivals

The barrier/wall you need to break for this achievement is right near where you spawn in the Frozen Airfield zone. You can’t miss it – there’s a special symbol on the wall that makes it stand out from the regular barriers. Just walk up to it and attack until it breaks. Breaking the barrier is the easy part. The real challenge is getting the right map and zone in your game. Since Marvel Rivals rotates its maps randomly, you might need to play a few matches before Hydra Chateris Base shows up. Then you’ll need to wait for the Frozen Airfield zone to come up in the rotation during your Domination match.

While you’re waiting for the right map and zone, you can work on other achievements in different areas of Hydra Chateris Base. The Super Soldier Factory has a couple of achievements like Wakey Wakey that you can earn, so you’re always making progress no matter which zone comes up.

When you do get the Frozen Airfield in your rotation, take a moment before the fighting starts to look for that marked barrier. You don’t want to miss your chance because you were rushing to the control point.
