Fortnite OG Season 2 secret quests: Locations & how to complete

Secret quests are back in Fortnite OG Season 2, offering bonus XP and fun challenges that aren’t listed in your regular quest menu like Greatest Hits quests. These hidden missions only appear when you complete specific actions in the game, making them an exciting way to level up while exploring the map.

Let’s take a look at how to complete each of these secret quests and unlock their rewards.

All Secret Quests Available in Fortnite OG Season 2

Secret quests work differently from your regular daily or weekly challenges. You won’t see them in your quest tab – instead, you’ll get a notification when you complete one. There are currently four secret quests to tackle, each offering a decent XP reward for completion.

• Search a chest at Umbrella Mine
• Visit the Motel at Night
• Use a Chug Jug at Tomato Town

How to Hit Players with Boogie Bombs

This quest is pretty straightforward but requires some luck with item spawns. Boogie Bombs can be found as floor loot or in chests. Once you have one, throw it at other players to complete the quest.

How to Search a Chest at Umbrella Mine

Head to Umbrella Mine, located west of Anarchy Acres on the Fortnite OG Map. You can spot it easily from the Battle Bus since it’s shaped like an umbrella. Land there and search any chest you find. The quest completes after searching your first chest in this location.

How to Visit the Motel at Night

The Motel (Motel Vacanic) sits between Junk Junction and Anarchy Acres in the northwest part of the map. The tricky part is timing – you need to be there during the night cycle. Either land there and wait for nightfall, or plan your rotation to arrive when it gets dark.

How to Complete: Use a Chug Jug at Tomato Town

This quest requires finding a Chug Jug and using it at Tomato Town, which is in the northeast section of the map. Chug Jugs are legendary items, so your best bet is checking Supply Drops. Remember, you can now move while drinking the Chug Jug, making it easier to complete this quest safely.

Each secret quest can only be completed once, and they don’t stack with other quests. Take your time completing them – there’s no rush, and they’ll stay available throughout the season. Plan your drops around these locations when possible, and always keep an eye out for Boogie Bombs and Chug Jugs during regular gameplay.
