The Spartan hasn’t been around since June 2022, but now you’ve got a chance to add this Gaming Legend to your locker. Let’s talk about how you can get both the regular Master Chief Skin and that sleek Matte Black style in Fortnite.

How to Get Master Chief Matte Black Style in Fortnite?

Getting the Matte Black version of Master Chief isn’t complicated at all. Once you own the skin, you just need to start up Fortnite on an Xbox Series X|S or through Xbox Cloud Gaming. That’s it – the style will unlock automatically for your account. You don’t need to play any matches or complete any challenges. Just logging in on the right platform will do the trick.

You’ll need access to either the console or Xbox Cloud Gaming to unlock it. The style won’t show up in your locker until you log in through one of these platforms. The regular green version of Master Chief looks great too, but having both styles gives you more options for your setup. But remember, you need to do all this before December 2024 ends as according to Fortnite’s latest tweet they have changed the criteria for unlocking the skin.

You can find Master Chief in the Fortnite Item Shop from December 23rd until January 1 at 7 PM ET. The basic outfit costs 1,500 V-Bucks and includes the Battle Legend Back Bling. It’s a solid deal if you just want the main skin, and you can still get the Matte Black style with just this purchase.

The full Master Chief Bundle is worth looking at if you want the complete Halo experience. It’s priced at 2,600 V-Bucks right now, which saves you quite a bit compared to buying everything on its own. In the bundle, you get the Master Chief outfit with his Back Bling, plus a few extra items.
