Fortnite’s next big event is just around the corner, and there’s a lot to be excited about. The game is getting ready to wrap up its Japan-themed season with a special live event that will lead into Chapter 6 Season 2. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s coming.

Although not confirmed by Epic Games according to reliable sources the next Fortnite live event will be happening on February 15th, 2025. Epic Games hasn’t announced the exact time yet either, but live events usually take place in the afternoon or evening to let more players join in.

Something cool is happening with the event countdown this time. Instead of just showing numbers, you’ll see six special masks that turn red one by one as we get closer to the event. These aren’t just random masks – they’re the Oni Void and Oni Fire Masks that have played a major role in Chapter 6.

What Will Happen In The Live Event?

The event focuses on two characters: Daigo and Jade. From what we know, Daigo is trying to save his sister Jade, and this story will unfold through daily messages as we get closer to the event.

While we are not sure what else is planned for the event, but like every other event this is going to be fun as well!

After the live event ends, Chapter 6 Season 2 starts on February 21st, 2025. Keep in mind that while these details come from trusted Fortnite leakers like HYPEX, some things might change before the official release.

The current Battle Pass ends on February 21st at 2 AM EST, so make sure to finish up any challenges you’re working on before then.

If you’re still playing through the current Japan-themed season, you’ve got about a week left to enjoy the Japanese theme before it switches to its new heist theme. Get ready for what looks like an exciting end to the current season and the start of a new adventure in Fortnite!
